Conceptual Information

Starfall is a free public service that was created in 2002 to motivate children to read with phonics.  It is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, first grade, second grade, special education, homeschool, and English language development (ELD, ELL, ESL). They use a systematic phonics approach, in conjunction with phonemic awareness practice.

  4. Starfall has movies with different sounds of words/letters that students can watch if they have some free time.
  5. Students can learn about each other by making their own person and telling about themselves.

I love it! This is so easy to use. Seems like something students will enjoy learning with. I like that it is easy to use and the student can independently play, and learn at the same time.
